Haha. I just don't want to go through first trimester again. And I want to get weight down and get rid of stretch marks! Ha! But I also what kids close in age...

I do think next time around will be easier because of what you said - just knowing what to expect. Knowing the difference between 3 and 9 cm!

I think when I wanted to push it was time for me to actually. But it was such a relief going from transition to pushing! Even though pushing hurt, I could actively do something about the pain, rather than just try to cope!Ashleighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18379061270688448144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7246379004988837371.post-36926620967454310052011-03-07T11:05:47.560-06:002011-03-07T11:05:47.560-06:00Your story made me smile. I remember that wanting to push during transition stage - feels like you're going to poop the baby right out even though it was still too early. I think doing it again will be easier because you'll know all the feelings and won't freak out. I totally thought she was coming out right before transition because I could feel her moving down.Kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16122163131690550753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7246379004988837371.post-84316383706583995792011-03-05T14:14:09.725-06:002011-03-05T14:14:09.725-06:00So glad to hear the whole story and that it was a ...So glad to hear the whole story and that it was a special day for you! I have to say, I dont agree with your correlation of natural childbirth to things like pain when your milk comes in (i think that's just a timing issue) and your baby being alert. Connor was alert from the minute he was born. And a really good eater, but my milk coming in was still painful. I guess every experience is different. The whole thing is so special and surreal - natural, epidural, c section - doesnt matter - it's still such a miracle! Can't wait to meet little Lilleigh!Tarrynhttp://lifewiththelankfords.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7246379004988837371.post-83617002624884344392011-03-03T00:17:56.563-06:002011-03-03T00:17:56.563-06:00I'm telling ya - all about the eating! :)I'm telling ya - all about the eating! :)Ashleighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18379061270688448144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7246379004988837371.post-29359263407026316002011-03-02T23:48:15.742-06:002011-03-02T23:48:15.742-06:00I have been waiting for the birth story! I didn't have pain with the milk coming in either, but Sally has always been a VERY avid eater, despite my epidural.Holly Lungwitznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7246379004988837371.post-14442190001059201202011-03-02T11:19:22.857-06:002011-03-02T11:19:22.857-06:00Wow you are amazing! I think the twins thing might have worked in your favor. :) You think?

Haha but I should clarify that I don't think anyone is destined for pain because of epidural. It just seems that friends that have gone natural and therefore had alert (and avid eating!) babies haven't had pain... something is there to suck that milk out right away instead of it building up.Ashleighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18379061270688448144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7246379004988837371.post-59807911493616801882011-03-02T09:03:40.202-06:002011-03-02T09:03:40.202-06:00thanks for sharing! that is incredible - I'm s...thanks for sharing! that is incredible - I'm so proud of you!!
