Recently I took a quick girls trip to visit Anabelle in NYC! It was a quick trip, but so much fun!  I actually wrote a longer post sharing what we did, but it somehow got deleted. And I'm just a little tired these days, so getting any posts up on the blog is big time. So for now, I'll just let you enjoy the photos! Love you, Bananabelle! For anyone who knows me, you know I hate being crazy busy, yet I have a tendency to become that way. It makes me crazy. Any who, this weekend was super busy, but in the best possible way! We totally crashed last night, and the girls are still asleep. Actually hubby is too... On Saturday morning, Brendon took the girls to the local art festival, while I held a garage sale with a couple friends. A reason for Starbucks. Good. Decluttering. Good. Extra money. Also good. Then that afternoon Brendon and I loaded up our crew to go meet some of our favorite friends, the wonderful Widemans, to go camping!  Lilleigh and Adeline were actually awesome campers. I'm not sure I should be surprised. Lilleigh is older and is just glad to do anything with our family - and with her sweet friend McKinley! And Adeline just loves being outdoors and doing anything big sister does!  For the record, Sammy did actually sleep on the foocot with Lilleigh ALL night, which you would think was ...

This was supposed to be published weeks ago, so I'm not sure what happened there. But alas here it is... It's been a super busy summer and last couple weeks. I have one hundred things to share, but for now here are some pics from our recent girls trip to Florida! 

We are still in June, yet it has been a busy summer! To start with, we visited family in Kansas for my cousin Michael's wedding. We just love his bride, Elizabeth! She's darling! It's always so refreshing to get out of Dallas and drive to the country to go visit this side of the family. Lil is really into playing "wedding" right now, so she sat perched up in the balcony, watching the whole thing, like a little birdie. I had to walk out with Adeline soon after the ceremony started, and Lilleigh was happy to stay there without me. Never happens. That tells you how into the wedding she was! When we got back, Ryan, Tarryn, and their boys came to visit. The cousins LOVED playing together! It was precious. (For some reason, the other photos won't upload, so just imagine lots of running, jumping, and playing in the rain!) Lilleigh also participated in Vacation Bible School at a nearby church. We recently got back from a family reunion in Colorado! It was Brendon's mom's side of the family. Twenty-one people in all. We drove there (quite the roadtrip) and then stayed in Brendon's grandparents' guest house for the week. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone and having all of the little ones together! We took probably one million pictures (okay, slight exaggeration), and yet the little ones totally stole the lens... so sorry to those we didn't get photos of! {My cheeks are burning... sorry y'all.} I'll post a photo of the whole fam once we get those back! How was the car ride? Adeline actually did really well that first TWELVE hour day, but after that she was done. Sweet girl. And I had tons of activities for Lilleigh on the way there, but on the way home, she pretty much watched the iPad the whole time. Next time I'd be more thoughtful for the way back too!
