Just a little exhausted from my full day of class. This week we are covering a full semester in a week! Crazy? Yes! But worth it? Oh yeah! Plus my professor is awesome! Anyhow, pardon the brevity of this. I'm tired. But more than being physically tired, I am tired of Obama, so I will continue...

I was listening on the radio (90.9 KCBI) today driving home to Barry Cramer talking about the "Fairness" (Ha! More like, Unfairness!) Act. Essentially it's another way for liberals to silence conservatives through radio. It is also known as the Censorship Act. It may soon go under a new name, I believe, called the Localism Act and claim that radio stations should cater to their local communities. Translation: Radio stations should only be liberal and should all back Obama and his socialism. As you can tell, I'm just a little annoyed.

I really could go on and on with these ridiculous, unAmerican policies, but I will save that for another day. For now, good night and good luck.

    Hey girl! Are you ready for an intro? If so, I would love to do one today! BTW, I totally agree with you on the above. You probably know that, but I listen to talk radio everyday at work and I just can't imagine what it would be like to hear liberalism propaganda all day! Of course, I would stop listening, but it is definitely a scary thought.

Today my brother Austen would have been 24. We're only 16 months apart. I loved having a brother so close in age. Growing up I always had a playmate and a partner in crime when it came to picking on our younger two siblings, William and Anabelle. William didn't even come around until 1992, so for years it was just the two of us. And eventually we became 4 (siblings)... and now more... and our sibling love grew. Friendships and Answered Prayers

I'm grateful. I keep trying to think of something clever or cute or sweet to start this post, but these are the words that come to mind. The Lord has continually provided me with sweet friendships throughout my life, and I am grateful. This season, the anniversary and birthday of my brother, always makes me reflect on friendships. I had a few sweet friends drive in from Dallas to be with my in Houston after Austen died. And I had many of my Houston friends, from growing up, show up to help and comfort and off condolences. Not to mention, many of Austen's friends were my friends, and my friends, his friends. Regardless, I was in awe at how the Lord prompted these sweet friends in their words, their actions, their showing up, when we needed them. In the months before Austen died, I had been in a season of desperation and loneliness. I was 25 years old and in my third and final year of graduate school.
